Assessment of effect of anti-platelet therapy on minor surgical procedures

Background: Antiplatelet therapy is to treat thromboembolic disorders, but it causes hemorrhages. Aspirin the drug in regular practice. Materials & Methods: 80 patients selected for mandibular third molar extraction both genders were randomly divided into 2 groups 40 each. In Group I, antiplatelets drugs (75 mg aspirin/ 75 clopidogrel) enrolled and group II, who discontinued before 5 days enrolled. Bleeding observed after 1 24 hours.
